Our Studio
WTX3D is a small-batch studio focused on high-end 3D printed lighting. We design and produce lamps where process, tuning, and light behavior are
part of the design, not hidden behind mass production or generic
finishes.
We are not a print farm. We do not sell STL files. And we do not treat 3D printing as a shortcut.
Each WTX3D lamp is the result of long print cycles (often spanning multiple days), followed by inspection, finishing, and validation for both structure and light diffusion. Visible layer lines and subtle variation are intentional. They are the natural outcome of additive manufacturing done carefully, and they serve as a maker’s mark rather than a defect.
Our work focuses on form, density, and how light moves through material. Many designs are tuned specifically for translucent and clear polymers, where wall thickness, internal geometry, and surface texture directly affect glow, softness, and brightness. These decisions are made deliberately, model by model.
WTX3D operates as a studio, not a factory. We produce in small batches, refine continuously, and limit variation so quality remains predictable and repeatable. Some designs are available in curated colorways; others are defined by material behavior rather than color itself.
All design, tuning, and production decisions are made with longevity in mind, both for the object and for the process behind it. What you see here is not an experiment or a trend response, but an ongoing body of work built around additive manufacturing as a legitimate medium for functional art.
If you have questions about a specific piece, materials, or availability, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to talk about the work. We are real people running real machines.
