Confirm the name
Provide the exact spelling and any birth details only when settled. A family nickname or surname may be worth discussing if the chosen name is still private.
Describe the room
Send a color or theme reference and the intended location. Placement, dimensions and mounting requirements need review separately from the artwork.

What should I do when the recipient's preferred engraved name is uncertain?
Confirm the exact spelling, capitalization and whether middle names belong in the displayed wording. If the name is not final, keep the concept provisional. Once confirmed, review the complete name on the selected item rather than treating a placeholder or reference example as approval.
How do I coordinate a nursery sign with a room theme?
Describe the main theme and provide a few references showing the style you want, rather than combining every room detail. Identify the name as the primary text and explain which motif matters most. The selected sign's format should guide the composition, with placement and mounting considered separately.
