What information should I confirm before putting dates on a pet memorial?
Verify the dates with the family and ask whether they want exact dates, years only or no dates at all. Do not guess a birthday or adoption date from context. Keep the approved display wording separate from background notes so the proposed layout preserves the family's chosen way of remembering the pet.
How can a memorial recognize more than one pet without confusing their details?
Provide a separate record for each pet with the exact name, dates if desired and matching image reference. Choose whether the design should present them equally or follow a particular order.
