Terrapin Station
Terrapin Station is a rare, form-driven light sculpture, defined by contrast, softness, and restrained motion.
Design
Terrapin Station features a spherical form wrapped in smooth, looping contours that weave gently across the surface. The lines feel fluid but controlled, creating a sense of movement that is calm rather than dramatic. When unlit, the sculpture reads as subtle and refined, with quiet dimensionality. When illuminated, light settles into the recessed curves, producing a warm, diffused glow that feels balanced, understated, and contemplative.
Craft & Materials
Produced in small batches using eco-friendly, plant-based material, each lamp is hand-finished to preserve the integrity of its layered surface. High-grade electrical components ensure safe, consistent performance and enduring quality. Made to order to reduce waste and deliver each piece directly from our studio to your home.
What Sets It Apart
Process-forward design: The layered surface intentionally exposes the making process as part of the aesthetic
Expressive glow: Translucent material and color variation create a dynamic, emotional light quality
Sustainably crafted: Biodegradable materials and intentional, low-waste production
Built for longevity: Premium components and sturdy construction
Wireless illumination: Rechargeable, cord-free operation with long-lasting battery life
Details
Power: Rechargeable LED light module with 10-15 hours of continuous runtime per charge
Charging: USB-C (standard phone chargers, power banks, or computers)
Light source: LED only, resting in the base (replaceable)
Care & Use:
This lamp is designed exclusively for low-heat LED illumination. Do not use incandescent or high-heat light sources. Keep away from direct heat and high-temperature environments. The plant-based material may soften or deform at temperatures above 60°C / 140°F.

Important
Each piece is individually printed in our Texas lab. Visible layer lines and slight textural variations are not flaws; they are the DNA of additive manufacturing, chosen specifically for structural strength and unique character.
How should I clean the lamp?
Use a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaners or solvents. Keep away from direct heat sources.
Design
Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.
Why am I seeing lines on my piece?
Unlike mass-produced, injection-molded plastic, WTx3D pieces are built layer-by-layer over 30+ hours. These "layer lines" are the honest signature of a physical 3D print.
Do these variations affect the strength?
Quite the opposite. We intentionally choose specific print orientations and layer structures to maximize the durability and structural integrity of every lamp and donut.
Why does my piece look slightly different than the photo?
Because no two prints are identical. Variations in topography, surface texture, and color tone occur naturally during the multi-day printing process, ensuring your piece is a true 1-of-1 original.
Is WTx3D right for me?
If you value unique, engineered art that showcases the beauty of modern technology, yes. However, if you are looking for the perfectly smooth, sterile finish of a factory-molded product, our lab-printed pieces may not be the right fit, and we respect that choice.
