How can a gift represent a household whose members use different surnames?
Ask for the recipients' preferred wording rather than constructing a household surname. First names, paired initials or a shared phrase can express the connection. Specify every intended inscription and the desired name hierarchy, then review the proposed item or set without assuming one person represents the whole household.
