Provide initials, a preferred name or a brief phrase. Put the essential wording first so it can stay readable if the engraving area is limited.

Ask to review the proposed shape and hanging point. Keep the main design away from any fold or fastener shown on the selected product.

How should a design account for a fold, fastener or hanging point?
Show the proposed item shape and identify the area expected to remain visible when assembled or displayed. A flat outline may not represent the finished viewing area. Keep important wording clear of folds, fasteners and hanging points until the actual format is confirmed, then review the proposed layout with those features included.

Write it exactly as it should appear — capitalization and punctuation included. We'll send a digital proof before anything is engraved.
