Should a family keepsake use a name alone or include milestone details?
A name can connect a keepsake to the recipient across several memories, while a date records one particular event. Decide what the family wants the gift to represent. If a date is included, confirm that it is known and intended rather than guessing when a milestone will occur.
How do I plan wording on a shaped item with a latch or attachment point?
Provide a reference showing the actual item outline and any latch, hinge or attachment point. Mark the preferred viewing direction before arranging the name and motif. Review the composition with those details included, because a plain rectangle may not represent the available design space.

Write it exactly as it should appear — capitalization and punctuation included. We'll send a digital proof before anything is engraved.
