A name makes the gift personal beyond the wedding, while a role emphasizes participation and an individual dedication expresses the relationship. Decide which purpose matters most. Prepare exact name, role and message pairings in the recipient list so the intended wording stays with the right person.
How do I recognize a helper whose contribution does not have a formal title?
Name the contribution in a short, sincere message rather than inventing an honorary title. Someone who handled music, travel or family coordination may appreciate recognition of that specific effort. Keep the gift's wording separate from the formal party roster so their inclusion does not imply a role they did not hold.
