How should a board inscription account for its shape and intended display direction?
Describe how the board will be displayed and which edge will face upward. Handles, hanging arrangements and the board's outline influence the composition. The inscription should be planned around that intended view; separate questions about preparation or serving use still depend on the actual board and its care guidance.
